Tennis lessons in Chelsea, on your court
Private coaching on the garden-square and residents' courts around Sloane Square and the King's Road. Coach Boof comes to you. No court of your own? His base at South Park is ten minutes down the King's Road, with no membership to join.
The courts in Chelsea
Most tennis in Chelsea happens behind a gate: a garden square, a residents' club, a members' ground. That is where Boof Tennis has coached for over ten years. If you have keys or membership for any of these, Nick meets you there with the balls and a spare racket. If you have none of them, the two public options at the bottom are his.
Cadogan Place
The residents' garden courts off Sloane Street. Keyholders only, and the quietest place to learn in SW1.
Cadogan Square
A single court in the square garden. Book the court through the garden committee; Nick brings everything else.
Chelsea Barracks, the Garrison Club
The indoor court under Whistler Square, for residents. Weather never cancels a lesson here.
Burton's Court
Three hard courts on Royal Hospital Road, next to the Royal Hospital. For members and pass holders.
Eaton Square & Belgrave Square
Five minutes east, in Belgravia. Garden-square courts where Nick has coached families for years.
Battersea Park
Across Chelsea Bridge. Council courts you can book by the hour, floodlit, with padel next door at the Millennium Arena.
South Park, Fulham
Nick's home base. Seven floodlit LTA courts, no membership, ten minutes down the King's Road by car or on the 22 bus. Read about South Park.
Lessons on your court
One to one
An hour, your pace, your goals. Nick brings the balls, a spare racket, and a plan that starts from how you actually play.
Two of you
Partners, friends, a parent and a teenager. Semi-private lessons share the hour and the cost, and you leave with something to practise together.
Kids on the square
Individual lessons from age five, or up to four friends in one hour. The garden court is the best classroom there is: no crowd, no waiting for a turn.
How booking works
1. Pick a time
Choose from the free slots on the booking page and say which court you have, or that you need one. About a minute, no account.
2. Nick confirms
He confirms by email, usually the same day. If you need a court, he sorts one at South Park or Battersea Park. Nothing is charged until then.
3. Play
He arrives at your court with everything. Bring a racket if you have one; if not, say so.

- Do you coach at Chelsea Barracks?
- Yes, if you are a resident with access to the Garrison Club court. Say so when you book and Nick will meet you there.
